The Dementia By Day Team
When I started Dementia By Day in 2014, it was simply a blog about working in a dementia care community.
When I expanded to consulting in late 2016, Dementia By Day was just a one-woman operation, and it stayed a one-woman operation for another three years!
As I’ve grown this business, however, I’ve realized the importance of bringing on team members who can help me expand and iterate, along with sub-contractors who bring additional expertise to the table. I am so grateful to my small team for their energy, ideas and enthusiasm!
Big shoutout to some of my other colleagues working behind the scenes: Chris, my financial planner at Tempus Pecunia and Angelica, my accountant and owner of her bookkeeping team at Open Roads Bookkeeping.
Meet the Team
NATALIE DE PAZ
OPERATIONS MANAGER & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Natalie is a jack of all trades who finds fulfillment in creative projects, especially those involving the written word. Natalie has a BA in English from Florida International University and an MFA in creative writing from Stony Brook Southampton.
In addition to supporting Rachael as her assistant, she is a freelance writer and content creator, and she is currently working on her first novel.
Natalie is originally from South Florida, but she has put down roots in Pittsburgh, where she lives with her husband, their silly dog, Moonie, and their chatty cat, Gracie.
Fun Fact: Natalie is an improv comedian, and she met Rachael at their local theater, Steel City Improv Theater! Natalie is also fluent in Spanish.
CLIENT SUCCESS MANAGER
Pamela Wonderlin has the privilege of being mom to Rachael and Kara. She has lived in South Jersey her entire life and has a degree in Business from Rutgers University.
Pam has been working the Human Resource field for the past 25+ years. Her work in human resources gives her a unique insight on working with diverse groups of people.
She joins Dementia By Day as a Client Success Manager to assist the Team in their efforts to engage their growing list of ongoing clients.
Fun Fact: Pam recently became a first-time grandmom to Rachael’s son and is loving it!
CONTENT & SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR
Emily Oberman is a San Francisco city native, having also spent several years in Los Angeles. She holds a BA in Broadcasting from San Francisco State University.
In addition to her digital content and operations role with Dementia by Day, Emily supports entrepreneurs and small businesses with digital content strategy, branding and copy, as well as helping teams figure out how to streamline their systems with the right tech automations and integrations.
Emily currently resides in the Napa Valley with her husband, 6 year old daughter, and french mastiff dog. In her free time she loves traveling, trying new coffee shops, and indulging in endless amounts of chocolate.
Fun Fact: Emily is fluent in Russian!
CLIENT ROLLOUT MANAGER
Sultana grew up in Chicago, IL. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and an MBA in Pharmaceutical and Health Care. Sultana has been working as a Project Manager in various industries for over ten years!
She has been married for 15 years and has two children. Sultana loves to travel and enjoys food and reading fictional novels. She met Rachael when working as the Project Manager with Capital Senior Living, one of Rachael’s past clients.
Fun Fact: Sultana is an entrepreneur and owner of a recreational cooking school (with no prior experience!) called FlavorPot.
