Agreeing to Remember is a workshop that teaches participants how to engage  with people who have dementia using techniques found in performing improv.

NEXT WORKSHOP is June 26th at 6:30 PM at Steel City Improv Theater

Tickets available on AgreeingToRemember.com

What is improv comedy? It’s a type of theater where performers work in teams to make up stories and plays in front of an audience. I’ve been doing improv for nine years!

My friend and co-author of the workshop, Chris, and I realized that there was a ton of overlap between the techniques we use in improv performance and the proper techniques for dementia care communication.

Our goal was to create a workshop for anyone of any experience level, improv or dementia-wise, to be able to better understand positive dementia care communication. Agreeing to Remember was born in August 2016!
