What should be included in a full initial examination for possible dementia. My 86 year old mom already has a diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment, but on her yearly visits, she and my dad say that the doctor says she’s doing better. When I visit (I live all the way across the country), I can only see decline. I suspect that her diagnosis and follow ups are often anecdotal, and to just rely on mom and dad to give the answers is likely not the most accurate. (PS. I’m subscribed to you blog!)

You’re in luck: I’ve got EXACTLY the post for you! I wrote the diagnosis process into a blog post a few months back.
