Hi Drinda, I’m sorry this is happening to you. I will tell you that ECT often causes significant memory loss…were you doing ECT for depression before or after your dementia diagnosis? ECT is probably making your memory loss way worse. 54 is very young. Do you have an official “early onset” diagnosis? http://www.alz.org/i-have-alz/if-you-have-younger-onset-alzheimers.asp may help
