Hi! Well, of course, I recommend my website 🙂 but also the Alzheimer’s Reading Room website. I’ve written a few things on that site regarding specifically long-term dementia care. You can type my name into the search bar and find them!
I'm a home health aide in an assisted living facilty. I've recently switched shifts and am spending more time in our memory care unit as a result. I have experience helping other aides in memory care, but am new to being directly responsible for residents there. I am already exploring supplemental materials provided by my employer. Do you have any recomendations for books, websites, or videos that can provide additional information on how to interact with my residents?

I wrote this poem years ago, but to date, it’s the most popular piece I’ve ever created.
